Self Portrait Awarded Gold Medal
Jennifer was recently awarded the Gold Medal of Honor for her oil painting, “Self Portrait” at the 122nd Annual Juried Exhibition of the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club at the National Arts Club in New York City, January of 2020.
Memento Mori on Exhibit in NYC
“Memento Mori” was accepted into the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club 118th Annual Open Juried Exhibition and will be on display December, at the National Arts Club in New York City. The Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club is a national organization of professional women artists. This is Jennifer’s third painting to be accepted into the annual juried show over the past several years.
There will be an opening reception for the show on Friday, December 12th from 5:30 – 8:00pm. Tickets to the event are $25 and are a donation to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Sunset Sketches Featured in Magazine
Several paintings from “Summer Sunset Sketches in Calloway County” will be featured in an article about the series of paintings I did this summer in Outdoorpainter.com, the online site for artists by Plein Air Magazine. The story, by Bob Bahr, will run this week and be sent out in their monthly newsletter December 26th.
